Background:

While patrolling the streets of New York City as a police sergeant, Mike Dailey attended Fordham Law School at night. He was soon transferred to the NYPD Legal Bureau, where he served as a liaison with the City. Upon graduating from Fordham in 1995, Mike Dailey left the NYPD and served as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bronx, prosecuting numerous criminal trials, evidentiary hearings, and Grand Jury presentations.

In 1997 Mike Dailey returned to the NYPD and joined the Special Prosecutor’s Office where he prosecuted police corruption and serious misconduct. In 2000, he was promoted to the rank of police lieutenant, and transferred to the Department Advocate’s Office where he supervised the Trial Division, consisting of former state prosecutors and police officer-attorneys.

__Mike Dailey retired from the NYPD in 2005, after twenty years of public service, and joined a small law firm in Westchester County. Over the next few years, he engaged in all aspects of criminal, personal injury, family and matrimonial practice, appearing in both state and federal courtrooms throughout the New York Metropolitan Area. During the summer of 2008, Mike Dailey founded his own law firm based in the Riverdale Section of the Bronx. He has successfully represented both civil plaintiffs and criminal defendants, at both the trial and appellate level.
Mike Dailey is admitted to the practice of law in New York State at the federal and state level. He is also admitted in New Jersey.
